A new pathway.

I was challenged today to begin a new tactic in my relationships (particularly my parents). I have an awesome group of ladies that I meet with on Sunday mornings for Bible Study. We always begin our class sharing prayer request & praises to our God.

Today one sweet lady who doesn't share too very often shared a praise. She told about how she has kept a journal of her relationship with a family member and prayed the same verse day after day concerning this person and their relationship. God has answered her prayer (praise Him) and she has the journal to look back on and see exactly the steps God used.

I have been a journaler in my past, but have let it slide. I was challenged in my spirit to pick that practice up again. So I am going to begin tomorrow. Praying specific verses for my parents. I want to be the *salt* and *light* in their lives. I pray God will use me to live before them honorably and give Praise to him for whatever He might do in our rocky relationship.

I am excited to use this method to strengthen my resolve and my love for my family as well as my Love for my Jesus. Please pray for me as I seek the verse(s) God wants me to use.

The verse my friend used was Exodus 14:14
